INTRODUCTION

It has become a routine since the last 43 years in Nigeria that the 1^st day of October must be celebrated as Independence Day from the hands of the British colonialist. Every Nigerian at home and abroad is expected to observe the day as a public holiday either in the mind or in reality. The day also gives the opportunity for “people of the pen” as M. O. Ene puts it, to analyze the progress of the nation both in the negative and positive dimensions. This year’s celebration marked the 43^rd birthday of this nation. Within this period, so many events have happened that must be remembered such as the Nigeria-Biafra War (1967 – 70), coups d’état and countercoups, ethnic clashes, etc.; but, of all these events, the abduction of the Anambra State Governor Dr. Christian Ngige was indeed the highlight. Ironically, it happened at exactly 43 days counting from the 29^th of May (swearing-in) to the 10^th of July.

Anambra people and indeed Nigerians await the final hurdle in that historical showdown. As we all wait, this article is rather looking at the incident with Nigeria’s 43^rd birthday from a meta-numerological dimension as a divine purpose of time. Many may call it a coincidence, which may be correct, but if one may also see that the preceding days from 10^th of July to the first of October is exactly 84 days (8+4 = 12 based on Pythagoras) and the fact that Anambra State is 12 years old, then it will be fair enough to look at it as more than mere coincidence. Thus the objective or purpose of this article is to attempt unveiling the mystery behind such a coincidence and also to look at the relationship between Nigeria and her “daughter” Anambra in relation with Ndiigbo as an entity.

NUMEROLOGY OF 12 AND 43

One area which Nigerians have seemingly abandoned understanding is that the causes of the nation’s predicament are in numerology – the language of numbers. To discuss about the importance and significance of figures with respect to divine fulfillment will definitely overflow this paper. Rather our knowledge shall be limited to 12 and 43, which concerns this nation and Anambra State in relation with Ndiigbo as a whole.

The numbers 1-9 forms the basis of numerological principles and, according to Pythagoras, all double digits can be reduced to single digits by adding their values from the left to the right. Thus, 43 is represented as 7 (4+3=7), while 12 is 3 making it a holy number. The number 12 is very important to mankind in so many ways. The Julian calendar is 12 months; 12 hours between sunrise and sunset, and, of course, the 12 signs of zodiac. By cabalistic contraction, “12 was also the original number of significance and completion.” This point is true in the sense that the 12^th month marks the completion of a year circle. Even the nation of Israel was completed after the twelve sons of Jacob were born (see Gen. 49:28) and till date the foundation of Israel, as a nation is 12.

The number 43 as we saw above is also represented as 7. According to Babylonians and ancient Hebrews, the number 7 symbolizes sacrifice and expansion. For example, Animals entered Noah’s ark by sevens (see Gen. 7:2-3); a substantial evidence of this fact could be derived from Jacob’s 7 years service for Leah and then for Rachael (see Gen.29: 18-28), which was the legal limit for servitude under Mosaic Law, thus bringing to our knowledge the relationship between 7 and 12. The number 43 when digitally multiplied is 12. Thus, 12 and 43 are related in sacrifice, expansion, and completion. The question therefore is how all these are related to the events happening in Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole in relation to the suffering of Ndiigbo.

OF SACRIFICE

In Igbo heartland and Nigeria as a whole, the name Anambra is among the oldest but that was when it engulfed what is now known presently as Anambra and Enugu States. Igbo heartland presently consists of five major states. Anambra state and precisely Agu-Ukwu Nri serves as the ancestral religious home of all Igbo. Thus, Anambra without mincing words has been carrying Ndiigbo along for 43 years now. For instance the champion of Nigeria’s independence of Igbo extraction was late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe from Anambra; the champion of the Biafran Revolution was General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu from Anambra. The later was even proven in the last general election to be commanding a very vast majority of Ndiigbo beating all other Igbo contestants in Igboland with a very large margin. Thus, the sacrifice of independence and the Biafran Revolution was a seed sown that must geminate after seven seasons (7), as we shall see in the course of the expansion.

OF EXPANSION

It is indeed a mystery, for a people, haven lost out so heavily in the socioeconomic, socio-political and socio-cultural front, to recover and expand within a short period of time. I have looked at the possibility from virtually all dimensions and concluded: “If not that Chukwu-Abiama (The Almighty God of Abraham) is our Father, we would have been like Sodom and unto Gomorrah.” It is common in Igboland that if you sow a seed in the soil, it will die and after about seven months from April (planting season) comes harvest around September/ October. From the time of independence till date is exactly 43 years, otherwise represented as 7. Thus, from that time, it is exactly seven years circle of servitude. You will agree with me that for the last 43 years, Ndiigbo have been living as servants in Nigeria.

The Biafran revolution saw the death of over two million Ibos and the dispersion into other territories in their millions. Presently the Igbo population is estimated to be well over 40 millions. Whether it is true or not, the fact is that, it is the will of God that the figure is within that scope, so that He can once again prove Himself among mankind that He was the same God who caused their scattering into the four corners of the world; so as to gather them under one fold of twelve (12) tribes after 43 years (4+3 = 7) of sacrificial servitude under the leadership of Ojukwu. I am writing with authority and power as a living witness to this Revolution that will see the emergence of the twelve sons of Jacob, rising from among their brothers in Igbo land to possess that, which was promised to them by the Almighty. I am subject to any challenge to this authority. This Revolution shall bring about the last lap of completion, which is symbolized by 12. Thus, Anambra being the sacrificial state has also completed the same period, justifying the position, which was marked by a remarkable event in the history of this nation -- the abduction of her Governor, Dr. Christian Ngige.

OF COMPLETION

Another way of combining 4 and 3 is by taking their product which is 12. Thus, 12 is another symbol of the union of heaven and earth such on a still higher order than 7. It reflects the universe, containing both matter and spirits. It symbolizes completion as I have already indicated above in the case of 12 months in a year, the 12 zodiac signs, and the foundation of Israel as a nation.

Anambra and Nigeria have also been associated with this number in the sense that the preceding days from the 10^th of July to the 1^st of October is 84 days (8+4 = 12), Anambra as a state is 12 years old and Nigeria is 12 years old (by the product of 4 and 3). We have reached the peak of human affairs. The abduction of Ngige is one incident that is very difficult under normal circumstances. But the mere fact that it happened is an indication of how the wisdom, knowledge and power of material wealth of this world have fallen. The world is no longer secured. The effort and power of Nigeria have been tested in the last 43 years to be insignificant and incapable of sustaining the about-to-be-revealed might, power, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the Igbo people.

Another thing to note about twelve is the fact that it symbolizes 3 (1+2 = 3) and as I have earlier stated, the number three is a holy number. It is a biblical fact that God visits Israel after every 3 years to collect His tithes. In the third thousand years from creation, God descended in a cloud and dwelled with men (see 1Kings 8:10). From that historical event to date is another three thousand years. Thus, mankind should expect such visitation. To prove that God is interested in the number 3 with respect to the Nigerian experience, the last 20 years have been marred by violence any time the number 3 appears as in 1983, 1993, and now 2003.The incident in 1983 was as a result of a failed transition from civilian to civilian government, leading to a coup d’état. 1993 was similar to 1983 in the sense that it was another transition but this time around, from military to civilian. It ended up in another coup.

The last hurdle of three succession of three’s is the one in which we are presently – 2003. Will it come and go without any disturbance? Some will say it is a bygone issue, with which I will not want to disagree. But at the same time I have seen and witnessed things that have made me stronger and this one, I say, is just one of those events that will be turned in a manner and way that even the basest of mankind will conclude that truly the Almighty God of Ndiigbo is indeed alive and dwelling among them. I had to bring in the number three so that no matter the angle you look at it, you will agree with me that this nation (Nigeria) is only at the mercy of the God of Ndiigbo. One area many would like to be reconciled is that of Biafra, which under normal circumstances deserves a space in this discussion.

BIAFRA IN THE PLAN

Biafra is one name that every one seems to be calling without understanding the meaning. There is no doubt that people have in one way or the other tried to uncover the mystery behind this nation. I respect the courage and enthusiasm of all those. But today I am telling all those who care to hear that the Biafra simply refers to the descendants of Ephraim. The tribe after which, the gathering of Israel in the last days shall be (see Gen. 48:3-20).

Biafra actually came into the limelight under the leadership of Dim Odumegwu-Ojukwu on the 30^th day of May 1967 or simply 30/05/1967 for easy understanding and calculation. Looking at the dates closely, we discover that the birth number is 3 (3+0 = 3) while the fate number, which is the sum total of the numbers is 31 (3+5+1+9+6+7 = 31; 3+1 = 4). Going by this date, Biafra is presently 36 years (3+6 =9 or 3 x 6 = 18; 1+8 = 9).

Haven established this fact; we shall now see the importance of 3 and 9 with respect to our discussion and the divine plan of God towards Ndiigbo. Already, the sum of 3 and 9 is 12. But the number 9 in the apocalypse is indirect and hidden, which may be considered remarkable in itself, since 9 was considered supremely sacred, being the perfected triad of trinity of trinities (3 x 3). Its complete absence as a literal number in the apocalypse is another clue to the seeker as to its importance. This is a point to write home about because very few people know about the blessings of Ephraim, the son of Joseph, son of Jacob. (See Gen. 48 for more on Ephraim). Nothing that is happening to Ndiigbo as a whole is a coincident but a perfect design of God so that He can demonstrate his power over and above mankind.

The number nine is also represented as the product of 3 x 3, which symbolizes the reconciliation of all mankind’s concepts of God. Being the largest number less than the decade, it also represents unity. I have already indicated above that Biafra refers to the Ephraimites who are to unite the entire Israel in their land, which is presently the entire globe into twelve tribes. This is the sole purpose for the yet to be revealed glory of Biafra. Thus, the glory of Biafra shall from henceforth begin to cover the phase of the earth as the water covers the earth. This glory shall be unveiled in the socio-cultural (Mashianic Hebrewism) and socio-political (Theocentricism) dimensions.

By the analyses of this article, it is certain that the period of sacrifice and expansion is over, which was championed by Odumegwu-Ojukwu. He failed because the time for the actualization had not come: though he did according to pattern and the fact that the nation must be actualized by grace through Joshua. The last point is even reflected in the month Biafra was declared - May, which is the 5^th month; 5 symbolizing grace. Thus, the need for a Mashianic State of Biafra through Joshua as recorded in the book of Hebrew 4: 8.

THE MASHIANIC BIAFRA (B’EPHRAHIM)

Mashianic Biafra is the emerging state of Ndiigbo that will be founded upon the twelve sons of Jacob. We have seen above that the gathering of the Hebrews shall be unto Ephraim. Thus, the only person, given the right to divide Israel into twelve according to the sons of Jacob is Joshua. It was Moses who actually took Israel through the stages of sacrifice and expansion during his encounter with pharaoh on one hand and the wilderness saga on the other hand. At the end of Moses era, Joshua was mandated to take Israel into the land by grace.

Joshua ministry or the ministration of Joshua was that of grace. It is a biblical fact that Joshua actually took Israel into the land with relatively teenagers. The Bible has it that they were people of nineteen years and below (see Num. 14: 28-31). Another point to note is the fact that he was resisted by 7 Canaanite nations but overcame (see 13: 28-29). Joshua later entered the land and shared it into twelve. Presently, this same nation of Biafra, which I am proclaiming to all who care to listen, is the nation that God has chosen to gather Israel to possess the entire world in twelve divisions. It is also important to note that the generation from Joseph to Joshua is 4 while that of Ephraim to Joshua is 3 (4 and 3 = 7). The entire period from Abraham to Joshua is seven (7) generations. The period was marked by great sacrifice and expansion in Egypt. Moses ministry was faced with the obstacle of the Egyptians but Joshua ministry had the Canaanites to overcome.

We have witnessed seven generations (43 years in Nigeria) of sacrifice and expansion under the undisputed leadership of Odumegwu-Ojukwu. But as the pattern has it, the authority and mantle was passed unto Joshua, who had been following Moses all along. The ministry of Joshua, outside establishing Ndiigbo as the leaders of Nigeria, shall ensure that the seven colonial powers of Europe and the dominant ideology of America be uprooted from the face of the earth (see Daniel 2: 44). Thus, I feel very proud to say, this is the day for its fulfillment.

CONCLUSION

We are in the days of the factualization of the twelve tribes of Israel. It took Noah 120 years and there was a new world; it took Moses 120 years and the Jews were in the Promised Land. We have already elapsed 6,000 years of creation, which is 120 jubilees going by the fact that a jubilee is 50 years (see Lev. 25: 10-11). Ironically, this last lap of 120 jubilees corresponds with the pattern of sacrifice and expansion of Ndiigbo in Nigeria. Tell me one reason why you feel I should not proclaim this good news to Ndiigbo and the entire world.

This is the mystery hidden that is today being revealed to you. There are indeed a lot of remarks that need explanation like that of whether the twelve tribes of Israel can be traced in Igbo land. I find it very fundamental as you do. Thus, I have decided to take it in a separate article as the unction directs. Ndiigbo will not be separated from Nigeria as a nation because Nigeria is part of the possession of Ndiigbo. Thus, Ndiigbo shall possess Nigeria from which they shall move to engulf the entire world in all socio-cultural, socio-political and socio-economic ramifications.

I stand to be challenged.
